To write a post:

1. Log in to your WordPress (make sure you see the toolbar at top of screen, as that tells you that you are able to edit). If you don’t see the top toolbar, you are not logged in and need to go to https://fall2025-ecl596.jessicapressman.com/
2. On the top toolbar, click the ‘Posts’ tab.
3. Click the ‘Add New/+’ sub-tab.
4. Start your post by filling in the blanks: enter your post title in the upper field, and enter your post body content in the main post editing box below it.
5. On the right-side margin/menu, select a category (from the offered topics) and add tags (your name, descriptions [meta-data] about the post) so that we can organize our content
6. When you are ready, click Publish.

HACK to access dashboard, to login easily:

enter the URL + “/wp-admin”… so enter into your browser:
https://fall2025-ecl596.jessicapressman.com/wp-admin

To add a photo (of other media file):
Place the cursor where you want the image to appear.
Click Add media.
Click Upload then Upload Files and upload the image from your computer.
Enter a title text with keywords.
Choose the size, alignment and link settings.
Click Insert.
